The 2024 Subaru Outback in Albuquerque, NM will Arrive Soon

When you hear the Subaru brand mentioned, you probably think of the best-selling Outback, the ever-popular family sport-utility crossover/wagon. And if you’re ready to shop for a new Subaru Outback, you may be wondering if you should get the 2023 model or wait to discover if any changes are in store for the 2024 Subaru Outback in Albuquerque, NM.

Standard Features on the Subaru Outback

With a slight increase in price at the base level ($500), the 2024 Outback starts at $28,895. Prices go up from there including Premium, Limited, Onyx Edition, Onyx Edition XT, Wilderness, Limited XT, Touring, and Touring XT. Packages with added options remain at last year’s prices but with a few extras thrown in.

All trim levels have Subaru’s legendary Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-Mode with Hill Descent Control, Active Torque Vectoring, and Vehicle Dynamics Control, giving the Outback SUV capabilities while keeping the handling and feel of a car. Ground clearance of 8.7 inches (9.5 for the Wilderness trim) is more than that of many SUVs, yet the Outback maintains an easy step-in height for all passengers.

Subaru’s famous EyeSight® suite of Driver Assist Technology is standard on all trims. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, LED Steering Responsive Headlights, Auto Emergency Braking, and more.

Additionally, all models come standard with the intuitive STARLINK Multimedia Infotainment System. The base trim has dual 7-inch display screens, while the upper trims get an 11.6-inch tablet-style touchscreen. Every Outback has Bluetooth, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, with wireless connectivity on all models except the base.

Functional roof rails with cross bars, automatic climate control, keyless entry, and 17-inch wheels are included on all models, with even more offered on higher rims.

Changes for the 2024 Subaru Outback in Albuquerque, NM

This generation of the Outback was completely redesigned for the 2020 model year and was also significantly refreshed for the 2023 model, the fourth year of this cycle. It has a more rugged look than ever, and this latest appearance looks more like a crossover than a wagon, which most customers want nowadays anyway. Typically, we would expect few changes since the 2025 model year will be a brand-new version, but the company did implement a few updates for the upcoming iteration.

Most of the styling updates occur on the Outback Wilderness trim, which includes a more rugged front bumper, a more prominent grille, and LED fog lights, giving it a more aggressive look. It also now has a 360°heated steering wheel, which can also be found on the Onyx editions. In addition, the Onyx models now also come with a power moonroof and reverse automatic braking.
