The Everyday Driving mode is a combination of electric and gas power to maximize efficient driving. When driving in the All-Electric mode, it saves on fuel and uses all-electric as much as possible. When taking a long trip, you can use the Battery Save Mode, which directs the gas engine to provide most of the power as it maintains the battery level. The Charging on the Go mode automatically recharges the electric battery while on the road. It will automatically charge the battery when it detects it is getting low.
